Aston Villa lost 1-0 away at Norwich City on Tuesday night.
Pundit Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to criticise Aston Villa’s performance against Norwich City on Tuesday night.
After grabbing a late 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic thanks to Jack Grealish’s strike on Saturday afternoon, Villa travelled to Carrow Road to take on an out of form Norwich side.

Alex Neil’s men had lost six of their previous seven games, and with Villa only losing once under new boss Steve Bruce, they made the trip to East Anglia with real belief of claiming a win.
However, in a dour affair, neither side had many clear-cut chances, and it took just one moment of brilliance to win the game, as Norwich striker Nelson Oliveira drove at the Villa defence before placing a long-range strike into the bottom corner of the net.

It was Villa’s second defeat under Bruce and arguably the most disappointing performance of his reign so far, as they mustered just one shot on target at Carrow Road.
Many Villa fans were left underwhelmed with the performance, and pundit Stan Collymore – who grew up supporting the club and played for Villa during his career – was also disappointed with the display.
Collymore slammed the players for their inability to keep possession of the ball considering how much the squad has cost and how experienced those players are, before suggesting that Villa didn’t provide enough of a test against a downbeat Norwich side.
One Villa even told Collymore that she doubts whether Bruce is the right man for Villa, but the pundit played down those fears, suggesting that it’s a muddled squad and need to settle on an identity.
