Forest are one of the biggest clubs in England and won the European Cup back in 1979 and 1980.

The Reds have a strong fanbase, but in recent years they have become also-rans in the Championship.

Philippe Montanier’s side will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.

Forest have made a good start to the 2016-17 campaign, picking up nine points from five matches.

The Reds will take on Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Championship after the international break.

The Championship club were quite busy in the summer transfer window, signing Apostolos Vellios, Mustapha Carayol, Armand Traore and Nicolao Dumitru among others.

Oliver Burke, Jamie Paterson and Dorus de Vries were among the players who left Forest in the summer transfer window.
