Celtic supporters are raising money for Palestine.

Stan Collymore has hailed Celtic fans and joined in their fundraising efforts as part of a response to the club’s fine by UEFA.
Supporters flew Palestine flags in the match against Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva last week, and were subsequently fined £60,000.

In response to this, supporters decided to continue to support the Palestinian people, by attempting to match the fine st by UEFA with their own donations.
Last night the fundraising efforts surpassed the target figure, a tremendous contribution from all involved.
Former footballer Stan Collymore praised the initiative, commenting on Twitter.
Collymore went onto make his own donation, to help the campaign along and show his support further.
Celtic play the second leg of their Champions League qualifying tie on Tuesday night in Israel, 5-2 up from the first leg.
