West Ham earned a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town,

Former West Ham United playmaker Jack Collison has responded to Mark Noble’s tweet by stating that David Moyes’ faith in the Hammers graduates will inspire those currently in the academy.
Moyes watched on as his much-changed West Ham side earned their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over League One side Shrewsbury Town, but it took extra time for the Hammers to score their elusive goal.

Academy product Reece Burke smashed home the all-important winner deep into extra time, after excellent footwork from another Hammers youngster Toni Martinez laid it on the plate for the defender.
Noble posted a picture of the duo along with himself, as well as midfield partner Josh Cullen on Twitter with the caption “academy”, before another of West Ham’s products Collison replied, stating that the photo should “inspire a few within the academy.”
Burke’s excellent strike was his first ever goal for the club, while Martinez made just his second Hammers appearance and first start. Similarly, Cullen made just his sixth appearance for Moyes’ side after returning from a loan spell at Bolton.
Noble, on the other hand, is now just six appearances away from overtaking John Bond’s 429 appearances and entering the 15 highest appearance makers in West Ham’s history.
