Celtic’s Scott Brown has divided opinion for his behaviour during a Scottish Premiership win over Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

Colin Hendry has claimed on Twitter that Scott Brown does not have the respect or responsibility to be Celtic captain after his behaviour versus Rangers on Sunday.
Brown was involved in a number of off-the-ball incidents during Celtic’s 2-1 win over the Gers at Parkhead yesterday.
First, the Hoops midfielder clipped the heel of Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos, who was red carded after reacting with an elbow.
Brown, who smiled at Morelos as he left the field, was then pushed in the face by Rangers winger Ryan Kent in the second half, before celebrating Celtic’s victory in front of the travelling fans after the final whistle.
That sparked another melee, with Ibrox star Andy Halliday confronting the 33-year-old over his triumphalism.
The Celtic midfielder, who could skipper the Bhoys to a historic Treble Treble in May, has divided opinion among pundits and neutral fans on social media, with John Collins among those condemning him.
And Hendry, who won three trophies during a two-year spell with the light Blues, reckons that Brown is the ‘poorest example of a captain’ that he has seen for a while.
