Jamie Walker has been repeatedly linked with Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.
Colin Cameron has told The Record that Hearts ace Jamie Walker should face Rangers this weekend, but says the talented winger should also leave before the transfer window shuts.
The 24-year-old could come up against his reported suitors on Saturday as the Jambos visit Ibrox.
Rangers have been linked with Walker for close to three months and former Hearts boss Ian Cathro has previously told The Glasgow Evening Times that the Tynecastle club want £1 million for him, having rejected two bids – the largest of which was £600,000.

The trail has gone somewhat cold recently, but Gers boss Pedro Caixinha watched him in a pre-season friendly with Newcastle last month, suggesting that he is still interested.
With less than two weeks to go in the transfer window, Walker remains a Hearts man, but club legend Cameron says he has outgrown the team and wants to see him at a higher level.
He told The Record: “Jamie Walker has to start. He’s a cut above the rest of players in the squad and I believe he needs to play at a higher level.
“He needs to push on and to get himself to a stage where he’s spoken about for the national side he needs to move on, whether that’s down south or to the Old Firm.
“I’ve heard the arguments against him playing but he’s their best player and someone capable of doing something special when he has the ball.”
It’s quite amazing that Rangers haven’t gone out and paid the money for Walker, who scored 12 goals in the Scottish Premiership last season. He is a tried-and-tested talent in Scotland’s top flight and the Ibrox club could certainly gain from signing him.
