Tottenham Hotspur face Championship outfit Barnsley in the EFL Cup clash on Tuesday night at Wembley.

Ahead of the match, former Spurs player and now Assistant manager at Aston Villa, Colin Calderwood, has scouted one Barnsley player who could pose a problem for Spurs.

Calderwood has spoken highly of Barnsley forward, Tom Bradshaw, saying he very rarely misses a target.

Tom Bradshaw of Barnsley scores the first Barnsley goal during the Sky Bet Championship match between Queens Park Rangers and Barnsley at Loftus Road on March 7, 2017 in London, England.

The Wales international joined the Tykes in 2016 from Walsall, and scored 10 Championship goals in 48 matches.

He has scored two goals in six matches so far, and Calderwood believes the 25-year-old could be the one to watch out for.

Calderwood highlights Bradshaw’s attributes, saying he is a strong centre-forward, who is clinical in front of goal.

“Tom Bradshaw is a strong centre forward, he can play, his movement is very good and he’s clinical in front of goal. He’s calm. He very rarely misses the target,” said Calderwood to Tottenham’s official website.

BBC Wales correspondent, Rob Phillips, also shares the same opinion, and says Bradshaw makes the right runs and always finds himself in good positions to score.

“Tom Bradshaw is one of those players who seems to know where the goal is, I’ll say that for him. Every time I’ve seen him play, he makes the right runs to score goals and he always hits the target, always works the goalkeeper. You can’t take liberties with him because he knows how to score goals.”

Spurs are heading into this fixture on the back of a frustrating 0-0 draw against Swansea at the weekend.
