Ashley Cole has denied speculation that he is already unhappy at Roma and considering leaving in January.
Rumours persist that Ashley Cole has failed to settle into life at Roma and wants to leave, but the ex-Chelsea man is adamant he will stick it out.
Cole signed for Roma on a free transfer during the summer after his contract at Chelsea expired and he seemed excited by the chance to experience Italian football.
But despite winning his opener against Fiorentina, the Italian press have reported that Cole hasn’t taken to life at Roma and is eyeing an early exit.
With whispers growing in volume that Cole could head for the MLS in January, the England international has chosen to speak out.
“This is a chance for me to try a different language, culture and way of living.”
Moving to Italy was a bold decision for Cole who had spent his entire 16-year professional career in his home city and he will surely be determined to get past the initial culture shock.
