Arsenal and Liverpool supporters were full of praise for Yves Bissouma after he put in a strong showing in the Premier League last night.
The highly-sought-after player helped Brighton record a deserved 1-0 win against Spurs – and the Arsenal and Liverpool fans were left impressed.
Liverpool are a club seemingly keen on Bissouma’s talents, especially with Gini Wijnaldum potentially leaving in the summer, as the Sunday Mirror did report (13/12/20, page 73) that the Brighton man is on their wishlist.
But those on Merseyside aren’t the only ones keen on chasing his talents.
Football.London did recently report that Arsenal are willing to wait until the summer to secure Bissouma’s services and the player himself has shared that North London is his preferred destination.
On Sunday, it was evident why Liverpool and Arsenal are keen to add him to their ranks because he dominated the middle of the park by breaking up play, carrying the ball forward and showing his authority throughout the pitch.
Liverpool and Arsenal fans were certainly impressed with what they saw and he’s a player to look out for in the coming months.
Whilst the Reds look to bring in a centre-back on Deadline Day, and it remains to be seen the business Arsenal conclude, they will still have an eye on the summer.
If Wijnaldum does run down his contract then Bissouma might just become even more of a priority for the champions.
But slowly but surely, Arsenal are also progressing forward and Bissouma could be another piece in their jigsaw.
