Coco Gauff is once again enjoying her time at the United Cup, having just helped the USA reach the quarterfinals.
Gauff was the MVP as the USA won the United Cup in 2025, with her nation now back in Australia to defend their title.
In fact, they are currently eyeing their third success in four years, with Greece awaiting the USA in the quarterfinals.
There, Gauff is set to face her WTA rival Maria Sakkari, and a doubles match with Christian Harrison is also on the cards.

Coco Gauff says Taylor Fritz complains to his coaching box
Also playing in the quarterfinal will be Taylor Fritz, who Gauff has been discussing on The Player’s Box podcast.
Giving her answer on the American player she thinks is most likely to yell at their box, she said: “I mean, I don’t think any of them yell, but Taylor, complaining a little bit. Talking, but he’s not like being rude or anything.”
Her fellow American Jessica Pegula, who isn’t at the United Cup, clarified: “He’s just talking out loud, I think all of them do that.”

How the American rankings look at the start of the 2026 season
Fritz may be vocal on his next outing, with the American ATP Tour star set to take on Greece ace Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The match in Australia follows his loss to Argentina’s Sebastian Baez and his win over Spain’s Jaume Munar in the group stage.
Fritz may, however, have taken somewhat of a confidence blow, having just dropped three places in the ATP rankings.
He is currently ranked ninth in the world, with number eight Ben Shelton the only other American man in the top 10.
Gauff, who has also suffered a drop from third to fourth, is joined in the top 10 by compatriots Amanda Anisimova (third), Pegula (sixth) and Madison Keys (seventh).
There are also many young American talents who are likely on the way to stardom, including 18-year-old Iva Jovic and 20-year-old Learner Tien.
