Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka are among the sports stars to have sent messages of support to skiing legend Lindsey Vonn.

Vonn’s Winter Olympics dream is over after she crashed in Milano Cortina, where she was airlifted to hospital.

The American has since undergone successful surgery, with figures in and out of the sporting world now showing their support.

Vonn, a hugely decorated alpine ski racer, returned to the sport in 2024 after announcing her retirement in 2019.
