West Bromwich Albion have been linked with the Wolverhampton Wanderers defender.

One of the most high-profile stories of this month’s transfer window is the future of Jonny Evans, with it currently remaining unclear whether the defender will remain at West Bromwich Albion.
Evans is the subject of interest from Arsenal, Manchester City and his former club Manchester United, as reported by Metro.
If West Brom were to lose Evans this month then it would undoubtedly be a significant blow and would mean that the club would have to act very quickly in order to bring in a replacement.

One player who could potentially fill the void should Evans leave is Conor Coady, who has produced some excellent performances for Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers this season.
As reported by The Birmingham Mail, West Brom are interested in signing Coady, with the former Liverpool defender having also been linked with Aston Villa.

A reliable presence at the heart of the back four, Coady would represent an excellent signing for West Brom and at the age of 24 he has time on his side to improve even further.
Losing Evans in the midst of a relegation battle would undoubtedly be tough to take for West Brom, but in such circumstances Coady seems the perfect choice to step in.
