Burnley beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at Turf Moor yesterday.

Wolves ace Conor Coady spoke to reporters after his side’s defeat to Burnley at Turf Moor yesterday, and shared what he and his teammates discussed during the half-time interval, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Black Country outfit have been impressive on the whole this season, but yesterday’s display was a rare slip in terms of both quality and effort from Nuno’s side.

Wolves were never at the races against Sean Dyche’s stubborn Burnley side, and despite a slight improvement in the second-half, they eventually left Lancashire empty handed.

Nuno’s men will have to quickly forget yesterday’s performance, however, with just a couple of days to recover before they welcome Manchester United to Molineux.

And when speaking to reporters after the game yesterday, Coady was highly critical of his team’s display, sharing how he and his teammates tried to evoke talk of a comeback at half-time, as quoted by the club’s official website:

It is hard to be too critical of Wolves, considering how far they have come over the past few seasons, and in some ways, they are victims of their own success.

Nuno will be expecting a response against United on Tuesday night, and it would be no surprise to see his players raise their games for the occasion.
