Alan Smith has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:44pm, August 20, 2022) that Arsenal coaches have privately said that Gabriel Jesus has transformed the Gunners.
The former Arsenal star made the comments about Jesus following the Gunners’ 3-0 win against Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League this past weekend.
The Brazil international striker did not score, but he was involved in Martin Odegaard’s first goal and also gave the assist for the Norway international attacking midfielder’s second.
Alan Smith on Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus
Smith said about Jesus on Sky Sports Premier League (7:44pm, August 20, 2022): “The coaches have said privately he has transformed the side.
“He has made such a difference with the options that he gives to his teammates with his clever plays.”

Big player for the Gunners
In our view, Gabriel Jesus has already proven to be a big player for Arsenal.
The striker moved to Arsenal from defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners paid £45 million in transfer fees for the 25-year-old Brazil international striker (Sky Sports).
Jesus has hit the ground running at Arsenal and has been really tremendous for Mikel Arteta’s side in the opening weeks of the new season.
The Arsenal no. 9 has scored two goals and given three assists in three Premier League appearances so far this season.
For Arsenal to be successful this season, Jesus has to continue to bang in the goals and play to the best of his ability.
