West Ham United co-owner David Gold has been quiet of late but has poured out his emotions on Twitter after the win over Swansea City.

The Hammers have been in freefall and found themselves perilously close to the danger zone after five defeats on the bounce.
Indeed it was seven games since the Hammers last tasted victory until they beat Swansea City 1-0 on Saturday.
The East Londoners still have some work to do to secure safety in what has been a hugely disappointing season compared to the record-breaking campaign the club enjoyed last term.
Co-owners David Sullivan, David Gold and vice-chairman Karren Brady have been criticised for their public profiles in discussing team and club affairs.
But both Gold and Sullivan were notable for their silence in the build-up to the Swansea game, a fact welcomed by the majority of supporters.
The magnitude of the victory, though, meant Gold could not hold it in any longer and he posted an outpouring of emotion on Twitter in the aftermath.

“What an amazing atmosphere what an important victory,” Gold said.
“(Manuel) Lanzini was outstanding (and James) Collins was a rock.
“The fans were fantastic thank you.”
Gold would have been mightily relieved to see the Hammers pull clear of the relegation danger even if it is only papering over the cracks of a desperately disappointing campaign.

Fans and pundits have rounded on the owners in recent months blaming their very public methods of business and woeful recruitment for West Ham’s woes.
Hammers fans will be hoping that if there is any silver lining to this season it will be that Gold and Sullivan have learned their lessons over investment and rectify that this summer.
