St Neots Town forward Jevani Brown is attracting the attention of a host of teams higher up the football pyramid, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Brown has been earning rave reviews for Evo-Stik League Southern, Premier Division side St Neots Town with a number of eye-catching performances.

The 22-year-old has been a revelation for St Neots Town despite only joining them at the end of December.

The skilful forward has scored six goals in eight matches for St Neots and he enhanced his growing reputation with a hat-trick in Tuesday’s 4-1 win over Chesham United.

Scouts from Championship clubs all the way down to League Two sides have been flocking to Rowley Park to cast an eye over Brown to keep tabs on his progress.

Brown started his career at Peterborough United and he was highly-rated at London Road, but he was released by the club in November 2013 due to an off-the-field incident.

The Jamaican has had stints at Barton Rovers, Arlesey Town and Wingate & Finchley, Kettering Town and AFC Stamford before making the switch to St Neots Town.

Brown’s suitors are expected to continute to monitor his performances for the remainder of the season and could offer him the chance to return to the professional ranks.

St Neots Town are keen to keep hold of Brown, but they are unlikely to stand in his way if he is offered the chance to move to the Football League this summer.
