Ligue 1 side Bordeaux are reportedly willing to make a financial loss on Josh Maja, who they signed from Sunderland in 2019 for £3.5m.
According to the Express, the French club are eager to offload the former Black Cats star at all costs.
Bordeaux are under pressure to recoup funds due to financial struggles, and Maja has been identified as one of several players allowed to leave this month.
As per the report, Bordeaux could be willing to sell Maja for as cheap as £3m, with the attacker failing to make much of an impact with the club since signing three years ago.
Maja joined Fulham on loan last season, where the Nigerian international made 15 Premier League appearances for Scott Parker’s side and scored three goals. And now, a move back to England is in the pipeline.
Maja has to do everything to leave Bordeaux

The attacker has been linked with numerous clubs over the past 12 months.
The likes of Middlesbrough, Forest and Blackburn have all been reported with a move for Maja, and this January could be the time for Championship clubs to make a move for the former Sunderland star.
At 23 and with two Ligue 1 goals this season, Maja could be a solid addition to many clubs in the second-tier or even the Premier League, and with Bordeaux eager to sell the striker, a bargain could be on the cards for any side who acts fast enough.
