According to The Sun, Everton are planning to make a £15 million bid for King, who is looking to leave following the Cherries’ relegation to the Championship from the Premier League.
The Times has claimed that with the 28-year-old forward having just a year left on his current contract, Bournemouth will sell him this summer.
Stats
According to WhoScored, King made 24 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Bournemouth this past season, scoring six goals and providing four assists in the process.
The Norway international made 34 starts and one substitute appearance in the league for the Cherries during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Moving to Everton
Dominic Calvert-Lewin did well for Everton this past season, as the 23-year-old striker scored 13 goals and provided one assist in the Premier League, according to WhoScored.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti will want the striker to continue to progress and develop, and it is unlikely that he would bring in King and put him straight into the starting lineup.
The 28-year-old Norway international is a good forward who would make the Everton attacking lineup better and stronger, and would give Ancelotti another option.
