PAOK are willing to sell Rangers target Antonio Colak for £2.5 million with the Greek outfit now looking to bring in a replacement for the Croatia international striker, as reported by Sportdog.
Gers fans have already found out first hand just how dangerous Colak can be.
It was he who drove a dagger into the heart of Rangers’ Champions League hopes ten months ago, scoring two wonderful goals as ten-man Malmo came from behind to beat the Glasgow giants 2-1 at Ibrox during the qualification stage.
In total, Colak scored 22 goals during the 2021/22 campaign on loan in Sweden. And while he might have flopped at parent club PAOK, his CV speaks for itself. Colak has scored more than 19 goals in three of the last five seasons.
And, with doubts surrounding the future of Alfredo Morelos as the Colombian enters the final year of his contract, Rangers have reportedly submitted a bid in the region of £1.5 million for the one-time Hoffenheim and Rijeka man.
PAOK rejected that offer. But it is understood that they would be willing to accept if Rangers up their bid to £2.5 million.
Will Rangers replace Alfredo Morelos with Antonio Colak?

Greek publication Sportdog point out that PAOK will not stand in Colak’s way. He could be replaced by former Lazio, Barcelona, Monaco and Inter Milan forward Keita Balde Diao, though the Senegal international’s wage demands pose a problem.
Keita, now 27, scored just three times as Cagliari were relegated from Serie A last season.
“It would be a huge move for Antonio to sign for Rangers,” says former Malmo ace Daniel Larsson.
“This would be a big step to a massive club. If I was him, and the chance was there, then I’d be very happy if a club like Rangers showed an interest.
“You rarely see a harder worker. He is very strong inside the box. He’s also a clever link-up player and good at getting into the right positions to receive the ball. He’s growing as a player and he would be a huge success at Rangers, I have no doubt about that.”
Rangers look set to miss out on the Zenit-bound Mateo Cassierra, though Stephen Odey has been linked this week.
