Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest target Anthony Gordon has missed another training session with Everton as he pushes for an exit.
What’s the story?
Well, both Unai Emery and Steve Cooper are keen to sign the Everton No.10 – according to 90min.
Gordon was allowed to skip training at Finch Farm on Tuesday due to a planned absence, but the Toffees have been left stunned after he failed to turn up today, having also missed Wednesday’s session – according to Sky Sports.
While that is very poor conduct from the England Under-21 international amid what is a miserable time for Everton fans, it comes as a boost for Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest in their pursuit of the winger.
According to Sky Sports, Gordon is likely to cost £40m this month, which would not be ideal for Everton given the fact they rejected a £60m bid from Chelsea back in August.

Having said that, it still wouldn’t be a bad return for an academy prospect with three goals in 16 Premier League appearances this season.
Aston Villa & Nottingham Forest face Newcastle competition
While 90min believe the Villans and Forest would like to sign Gordon, it seems Newcastle are leading the race.
The Telegraph are claiming that Newcastle are confident of striking a deal for the Liverpool-born attacker, who is expected on Tyneside before the weekend to hold further talks over a move.
Therefore, the onus is on Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest to step up their interest.
According to Dominic King of the Daily Mail, the Villans recently made a £45m offer for Nico Williams, but he chose not to leave Athletic Bilbao.
Despite the Spain international’s decision, that development proved Emery has money to spend on a new winger.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Gordon looks destined to leave Everton this month.
