Well, Liverpool are apparently back in the race for Jadon Sancho.
The Reds, who have reportedly missed out on Timo Werner, are said to be still interested in the Borussia Dortmund winger.
The Independent even went as far as to claim last week that Sancho would favour a move to Liverpool over front-runners Manchester United.
It remains to be seen where he goes but, according to one report, it’s ‘only a matter of time’ before he leaves Signal Iduna Park.
The Evening Standard claim that the Liverpool-linked sensation is on borrowed time at Dortmund and that the Bundesliga club are resigned to losing him.
The report adds that the German giants are ‘running out of patience’ with the London-born star due to off-the-field issues relating to social distancing breaches and frequent trips back to the United Kingdom.
That being said, Sancho would set the Anfield club back some £80 million [The Independent] and if they couldn’t afford Werner at £52 million then logically it doesn’t make much sense how they’ll afford to sign the former Manchester City prospect.
