It has been reported that Bournemouth, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League, are ready to sell the Norway international striker.
Manager Jason Tindall will allow the 28-year-old – described as “a massive player” by then Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe in The Daily Echo in April 2018 – to leave now instead of running the risk of losing him on a free next summer when his current contract with the Cherries runs out, according to the report.
Fulham and Villa both want the Norwegian, but the Villans could have to pay more than the £16 million transfer fee they are ready to spend on him to convince Bournemouth, it has been further claimed.

King scored six goals and provided four assists in 26 Premier League matches for Bournemouth last season, while during the 2018-19 campaign, the 28-year-old scored 12 goals and provided three assists in 35 league games for the Cherries, according to WhoScored.
Villa have already signed Ollie Watkins from Brentford, and King’s experience in the Premier League would make the Villans better in attack.
