The Mirror reported this month of interest in Wolves winger Traore from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s City.
It has now been reported by the same publication that the Wanderers will allow the winger to leave if they receive a bid of £40 million.
Bargain signing for Liverpool?
Traore is one of the better wingers in the Premier League who has improved considerably over the past two years.
The 24-year-old winger scores goals and creates chances for his teammates, and his direct running frightens the opposition defenders.
Described by former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent as “unstoppable” on talkSPORT (4:40pm, August 23, 2020), the former Aston Villa star would be a brilliant signing for Liverpool for the bargain price of £40 million.
The Spaniard would be a good investment for the Premier League champions, and his value is only going to increase in the coming years.
Thiago speculation
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said that he expects an offer for Thiago Alcantara in the coming days.
The Mirror reported this month that Liverpool want to sign the central midfielder this summer.
When asked about Thiago by Welt am Sonntag, Rummenigge said, as translated by Goal.com: “It looks like he will leave us. It was important for him that he showed that he can play well in the big games.
“When it comes to that, it’s a finish that hurts a bit. I expect an offer for him in the next few days.”
