According to Corriere Dello Sport, Juventus have made contact with Arsenal over the signing of Hector Bellerin.

It has been reported by the Italian publication that European giants Juventus are interested in signing Bellerin from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The Serie A champions have made contact with the Gunners, who are looking at €30 million (£26.85 million) as transfer fee for the 25-year-old right-back, according to the report.

Arsenal recovery

Bellerin has been on the books of Arsenal since 2011 and is a senior player at the club.

The Spain international spent a large chunk of last season on the sidelines with a knee injury, but he did recover and played for the first team.

The performances of the Spaniard following his recovery from injury left much to be desired, but one can understand that as he was only just making his comeback.

According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old made 13 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners last season, scoring one goal in the process.

Described by former Chelsea striker and pundit Tony Cascarino as “quick” and “pleasing on the eye” but “not a good right-back” on talkSPORT on June 22, 2020, Bellerin has his detractors, but if a club like Juventus want him, then he must be doing something right.
