It has been reported that the Spanish club have been in contact with the Gunners to sign Guendouzi on a loan deal without the obligation to make the move permanent next summer.
The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that Arsenal have made the French midfielder – described by former Valencia and Gunners’ manager Unai Emery as “a talented young player” who “has big potential” on the Premier League club’s official website in July 2018 – available this summer.
Arsenal stay?
According to The Sun, Guendouzi fell out with Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta last season and did not play in the final weeks of the campaign.
Arteta said just last week that he has given the French midfielder a clean slate, as quoted in Football.London.
The 21-year-old is a very good and promising young player who can hold his own in the middle of the park, and it is unlikely that the Gunners will make a decision on his future right now, as the summer transfer window will run until October.
