Bayern Munich President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has taken to Instagram to confirm that Michael Cuisance is leaving the Allianz Arena.
The BBC have reported that the Frenchman is close to signing for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, after being left out of the squad by Hansi Flick in Bayern’s recent 4-1 defeat to Hoffenheim.
Rummenigge wrote: ‘Thank you for playing at @fcbayern @michaelcuisance. Merci! And all the best for the future.’
Leeds are yet to confirm the former Borussia Monchengladbach player’s arrival, although all signs are pointing to an imminent unveiling for the 21-year-old.
When Cuisance does finally arrive at Elland Road, he will join the likes of Rodrigo, Diego Llorente and Robin Koch in Yorkshire as Bielsa forms a strong-looking side to tackle England’s best clubs.
The Bayern Munich man will help add some genuine quality to Leeds’ midfield ranks.

He has been compared to ex-Real Madrid sensation Mesut Ozil by the Bundesliga’s official website, while also boasting a Champions League, Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal success to his name.
Why are the Champions of Europe letting him leave if he’s so good, you might ask?

Well, L’Equipe state that Flick simply couldn’t guarantee Cuisance regular game time at the Allianz Arena this season.
He made just 15 appearances in all competitions last term for the Bavarians, and it looks to be just a matter of time before he is confirmed as a Leeds player.
