Rennes have named Raphinha in their squad to face Reims on Sunday, despite reports linking the winger with a move to Leeds United.
Raphinha is one of 20 players selected for the game, which kicks off at 4pm, English time.
It was reported on Saturday that Leeds have tabled an offer for the Brazilian winger (Goal).
And it had even been claimed that a deal was as good as done.
But Raphinha being involved for Rennes later would suggest that is not yet the case – though there is still time for things to change.
Leeds have until 11pm on Monday to sign the 23-year-old, but can still recruit from EFL clubs until 16 October.
Rennes are said to have paid Sporting £18.9 million for Raphinha during last summer’s transfer window.
And the left-footed player went on to score or assist eight goals in 22 games for the Brittany club last season, which ended in their qualification to the Champions League.
As per Ligue 1 rules, Rennes can name up to nine players on their bench and use up to five of those.
And Raphinha dropping out of Julian Stephan’s selection suddenly would certainly rouse suspicion.
