Welsh side Rhyl say they have launched an investigation. Were Leeds blameless?

Welsh side Rhyl have confirmed an investigation has been launched after a match against Leeds United’s under-23 side was abandoned.
A statement on their official website read: “Following the abandonment of the Friendly match between Rhyl FC and a Leeds United XI this evening (21st November) the club will now launch an internal investigation into the incidents which resulted in the match being halted during the second half.
“The club will issue no further statement until the completion of this work.”
A video posted on Twitter displayed a melee, with Rhyl seemingly the aggressors for the portion of the events which were posted online.

After Rhyl announced the investigation, the club’s own supporters took to Twitter to slam their own players, alleging they were using roughhouse tactics towards Leeds’ young players.

Leeds are yet to comment on the night’s events.
