Liverpool are set for a big rebuild this summer and it appears one club have made their intentions perfectly clear this summer.
Arne Slot’s Liverpool are keen on adding to their defensive depth this summer with HITC reporting that the Reds are keen on Lille defender Leny Yoro.
Manchester United are also understood to be keen on the French teenager but sources have told HITC that Yoro would prefer a move to Real Madrid over any other side this summer.
Joel Matip departed Anfield on a free transfer and it appears another promising defender could be on his way out of the Merseyside club this summer.

German side make intentions clear for Liverpool defender
Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg’s future remains unclear at Anfield after having loan spells at German side Schalke and Mainz.
Van den Berg made 33 Bundesliga appearances for Mainz last season and it has become clear that the German side would like to extend his stay at the club.
Mainz’s Christian Heidel has told Sky Deutschland that Liverpool have yet to make a decision over the Dutchman but the club would like to bring the defender back.
“That’s difficult, I can’t. We are waiting. We have been in contact with Liverpool several times,” Heidel said.
“When Liverpool start training, there’s no central defender there because they’re all away at the European championship and Copa América and then they want to have a look and take their time.
When asked what he thinks Van den Berg would like to do, he said: ““Sepp has made his position clear, he would love to stay at Mainz. We would love to keep him, now Liverpool have to play along. We’re giving Liverpool time and we’re taking our time.”
Van den Berg set to leave Liverpool
Since moving to Anfield, the Dutch defender has yet to make an appearance for the Reds in the Premier League.
A move away from Merseyside this summer is looking all the more likely with HITC reporting that the club would like to offer Virgil Van Dijk a new deal.
Sources have confirmed to HITC that there is indeed interest in the Dutchman from the Saudi Pro League but the Reds are keen on tying down the defender to a new deal this summer.
