Club Brugge have sold two players to Aston Villa this summer, striker Wesley Moraes and now Marvelous Nakamba.

Club Brugge supporters on Twitter have hit out at their now-former player Marvelous Nakamba after he moved to Aston Villa on Thursday.

Villa announced on their official website that midfielder Nakamba has become their 12th signing of the summer and second signing of the day following the capture of goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

The newly-promoted Premier League side were chasing Nakamaba for some while and it seems as though he wasn’t pleased with Club Brugge not pushing through for a deal a lot sooner.

French outlet Le Soir previously claimed that the 25-year-old was left angry and even went on strike as a potential deal to Villa Park looked to be slipping away.

His antics leading up to his move to Villa has resulted in some of his former fans hitting out at the player and ensuring he doesn’t leave with a warm goodbye.

Nakamaba’s actions this summer were mentioned as he becomes the second Club Brugge player to sign for the Midlands outfit this summer.

Striker Wesley Moraes made a club-record switch to Villa last month, and it is fair to say that he didn’t get as much stick, if any, like Nakamba is getting.
