Some Sheffield United supporters appear to be losing patience with their Rangers-linked midfielder, John Lundstram.

The Star claimed earlier this summer that Rangers are one of three clubs keen on the Sheffield United midfielder, along with West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Lundstram was one of the Premier League’s unexpected success stories last season, scoring five goals and setting up three in 34 games for the Blades.

But, while still early days, the new campaign is not going quite so smoothly for the 26-year-old, who was arguably at fault for Raul Jimenez’s goal in the defeat to Wolves last week and missed a penalty as United lost at Aston Villa on Monday.

Rangers, meanwhile, are in the market for another central midfielder, according to their manager, Steven Gerrard.

And according to the following Sheffield United fans, Rangers can come and take a certain one of theirs – who has incidentally yet to accept the Blades’ offer of new contract with less than nine months remaining on his existing one…
