Arsenal have been woefully inept in the middle of the park over the past decade or so, and it could be argued that their lack of physicality in midfield has cost them from making a sustained push for the Premier League title during that time.
Emery is desperate to address that issue, according to the Independent, and is keen on bringing Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi to north London before the start of the new season.
The British broadsheet claims that Arsenal will have to meet his £35 million release clause, however, if they want to sign him this summer.
In today’s day and age, that actually represents decent value for money, and the France international could very well help take the Gunners to the next level.
