Mateusz Klich is on the verge of leaving Leeds United for DC United, according to journalist Tom Bogert on Twitter.
The MLS journalist and transfer expert has claimed that Major League Soccer club DC United are finalising a deal to sign Klich from Leeds in the January transfer window.
Bogert, who has written transfer stories for The Guardian among other major news outlets, has said that although the deal is not 100% done, it is close to being completed.
According to TEAMtalk last month, the 32-year-old Poland international midfielder wants to leave Leeds in the January transfer window due to lack of playing.
And it seems that the £34,000-a-week (SalarySport) midfielder is about to have his wish fulfilled.
Mateusz Klich to leave Leeds United for DC United

No big miss at Elland Road?
In our opinion, Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch is unlikely to miss Mateusz Klich much at Elland Road.
That’s because the American coach has not really used the midfielder much so far this season.
The Leeds no. 43 has made 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this campaign, playing just 188 minutes.
It would make sense for the midfielder to leave Leeds and find a club where he would play regularly.
