The Cameroonian has struggled to find a steady run of form at Marseille.

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Clinton N’Jie’s loan spell at Marseille took yet another turn this week as the Cameroonian was dropped for the side’s win against Lorient.
N’Jie has recently been playing as a central striker for Marseille, after an injury to Bafetimbi Gomis. It all started well, with the Spurs-owned star scoring in the position against Rennes.
But he struggled against Paris Saint-Germain in the following fixture, as Marseille were spanked 5-1 at home.
So, Marseille boss Rudi Garcia dropped the Tottenham loanee for the game, deciding to have a roaming front three of fellow former Premier League players in Dimitri Payet, Remy Cabella and Florian Thauvin.
It clearly worked, as Marseille romped to a 4-1 victory.
N’Jie has again shown the inconsistency which saw him fail to make an impact at Spurs last season.

Tottenham Hotspur snapped him up in the summer of 2015 from Olympique Lyonnais in a deal worth around £12 million, according to the Telegraph.
But he was allowed to leave in the summer with Georges-Kevin N’Koudou heading in the other direction. However, he has done little to convince Tottenham that he may still have a future at the club.
