Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Michael Olise from Reading.
It’s an impressive first capture for new Palace boss Patrick Vieira, as he sets about reshaping a squad with no shortage of players out of contract.
Olise lit up the Championship last season and Palace will hope he can make the step up to the top flight.
Former Palace striker Clinton Morrison certainly expects him to.
When the move was confirmed, he wrote on Instagram that he saw a lot of Olise last season.
And he thinks his old club have made an impressive signing as they gear up for Vieira’s first season in charge.
Ebere Eze made a big impression coming up from the second tier last season and Olise can use that as inspiration.

Unfortunately, Eze’s current injury means the pair will have to wait to link up.
But when they do, it could be fireworks, especially if you add Wilfried Zaha into the mix too.
Getting Olise signed nice and early allows him to bed in during pre-season and get to grips with Vieira’s demands too.
