Kalvin Phillips has arguably been Leeds United’s most consistent performer this season.

Sky Sports pundit Clinton Morisson has warned Leeds United that Kalvin Phillips will leave the club next summer if they don’t earn promotion following his dominating performance against Preston North End.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side secured a 1-1 draw at Deepdale, with the highly-rated midfielder running the show in the middle of the park, according to former striker Morrison.
On the face of it, Leeds should have walked away with maximum points, but in the end, they had to rely on Eddie Nketiah to come off the bench and rescue them.
Speaking to Soccer Special on Sky Sports News (22/10/19 at 9:00 pm), Morrison was left stunned at the performance Phillips was putting in for Leeds as he claimed he will be ‘gone’ if there’s no promotion for the club.
“I want to talk about the young boy in the midfield, Kalvin Phillips,” Morisson told Sky Sports. “He is a player and a half. He’s dominated this game.
“He is a top, top player. If Leeds don’t get promoted this season then that young player will be gone. He has dominated the midfield. He cleans up things and he always looks to pass forward.”

Phillips has been in outstanding form for Leeds once again this season and it could be argued that he is the most improved player under Bielsa, and perhaps his best player.
Before Bielsa walked through the Elland Road doors, he was perhaps the most talented, and it is just a case of the Argentine taking his game to the next level.
Phillips did pen a new deal recently, but that won’t stop potentially interested parties from wanting his signature if the club doesn’t get promoted because he is a serious talent.
