Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers signed Clint Hill on a free transfer last summer.

Clint Hill has insisted that his own personal future at Glasgow Rangers is currently the last thing on his mind.

Hill’s current deal at Ibrox expires at the end of the season, and at the moment no new contract has been offered to the centre-back.

However, the experienced defender insists that Rangers should not be focusing on offering him fresh terms, as they have greater worries on their mind at the moment.

Rangers are still looking to appoint a new full time manager, following the departure of Mark Warburton.

At the moment Graeme Murty is in temporary charge of the Glasgow club, but back-to-back defeats have increased the pressure on Rangers to find a permanent successor to Warburton quickly.

Rangers’ poor run of form has seen them slip down to third in the Scottish Premiership table, and they are currently nine points behind Aberdeen.

Rangers are next in action tomorrow evening, when they take on St. Johnstone at Ibrox – and Hill has declared himself fit to play in the contest.
