Former Glasgow Rangers defender Clint Hill returned to Ibrox to watch the Gers’ most recent Scottish Premiership clash.

Clint Hill has taken to Twitter after returning to Ibrox to watch Rangers’ clash with Aberdeen on Wednesday night and described the game as the perfect night all round and suggested that the players did all that could be asked of them.
Graeme Murty’s men got themselves back to winning ways against the Dons as they put two successive defeats in the build up to the game behind them and beat Derek McInnes’ men 3-0, with James Tavernier scoring twice and Carlos Pena also getting on the scoresheet for the home side.

Amongst the delighted spectators in attendance for the game was former Ibrox defender Hill, who had confirmed in the build up to the fixture that he was coming back to watch the game. And after the victory, Hill took to social media to respond to a couple of the supporters who asked about his return, and he was quick to praise the performance and the atmosphere inside the ground.
The win will undoubtedly give Rangers a major boost of confidence after a couple of hugely disappointing results. Should they beat Aberdeen when they meet again at the weekend, they will go second in the Scottish Premiership table.

If they go second, they will be hoping that they can keep the momentum with them during the coming months, as, all of a sudden, they could quickly be putting more pressure on league leaders Celtic than many would have anticipated they would.
It may appear to be too great an ask for this season, but Murty will just be asking his players to keep concentrating on picking up the wins as, if Celtic become complacent at any stage, they may have an opportunity to just make them sweat ever so slightly before the season comes to a conclusion.
