Tottenham Hotspur are considered one of the leading contenders to sign Gareth Bale this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Cliff Jones has tweeted Gareth Bale, urging him to come back and join Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Bale left Spurs in 2013 to join Real Madrid, but his future is very uncertain right now.
Although Bale won Madrid the Champions League last night, after coming off the substitutes’ bench and scoring twice, his comments after the match were telling.
The Welsh wing wizard suggested that he needs to be playing regularly, and he will sit down with his agent this summer to discuss a move.
And Jones is dreaming of seeing Bale back in a Spurs shirt next term.
If Tottenham did manage to bring Bale back, he would surely give them the most devastating attacking in the Premier League.
The thought of seeing Bale lining up with Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen is a tantalising prospect for all Tottenham supporters.

Bringing Bale back would not be a simple task for Spurs though, as it would require them smashing their wage structure.
Bale would almost certainly want to become Tottenham’s highest paid player ever if he was to come back, and that could put the deal out of Pochettino’s side’s reach.
