Matt Grimes and Kyle Bartley played on loan at Leeds United from Swansea City in 2016-17.

Swansea City manager Paul Clement has revealed to The Daily Mail what he told Matt Grimes and Kyle Bartley when the duo were at Leeds United.
Grimes, who is 21 years of age and operates as a midfielder, played on loan for Leeds from Swansea during the 2015-16 season.
Bartley, who is 25 years of age and plays as a central defender, also spent the 2015-16 campaign on loan at the Whites from the Swans.

Swansea manager Clement has revealed what he told the duo when they were at Championship club Leeds.
“When I spoke to Matty Grimes and Kyle Bartley at Leeds, I said ‘you’re Swansea players’ and before I look anywhere else I’m going to look at what we have got from within,” Clement told The Daily Mail. “We want people back pre-season to train and we will go from there.”
No hope for Leeds United return?
Grimes was a disappointment during his loan spell at Leeds, managing to make only one start in the Championship for the Whites.
Bartley, though, was a massive success and established himself as a key player in the heart of the Leeds defence.
Leeds will surely love the former Arsenal prospect to return to Elland Road for the 2017-18 campaign, but Clement’s comments suggest that the defender will play for the Swans in the Premier League.
