Jacob Ramsey has shared that Jorginho said ‘no’ to giving him his Chelsea shirt when Aston Villa visited Stamford Bridge this season, as he told Sky Sports.
The Aston Villa midfielder shared that the Chelsea man told him ‘he gave it to somebody else’, but thought he would still hand him a shirt because they were ‘literally outside of the changing room’, at the time.
Well, at the rate Ramsey is going at in Villa colours, he will soon find that players will be asking for his shirt a lot more because he was outstanding this season.
Even though he made his Villa debut at the tender age of 17, the ball-carrying expert had his breakthrough campaign this term and he will be hoping to go to another level in 2022/23.
And if he does, then maybe Chelsea’s midfield technician will hand him his shirt, as Ramsey shared what happened.
“So, this season, against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge,” said Ramsey. “I asked for Jorginho’s shirt.
“He said ‘no’. To be fair, he said that he gave it to somebody else. But, we were literally outside of the changing room, so I thought he could grab one. Clearly not!”

Dean Smith was the one who first really pushed Ramsey into the first-team set-up and he deserves huge credit for what he did for the boyhood Villa fan.
But, it was under Steven Gerrard that Ramsey started to take his game to another level and produce a number of outstanding moments for his team.
Come next season, with Villa pushing for Europe, someone like Ramsey, even at the age of 21, is going to be pivotal to the club’s success
The attack-minded midfielder is one of the first names on the teamsheet, but with Gerrard bringing in new faces, he might have to deal with some stronger competition for starting places.
