Diogo Jota has taken to Liverpool like a fish to water, it’s fair to say.
The 24-year-old joined the Premier League champions from Wolves this past summer and has already netted nine goals in as many starts across all competitions.
Jota originally signed for Liverpool as a back-up player to one of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino.
So if he’s winning individual awards within a couple of months of arriving at Anfield, it’s a pretty amazing achievement.
It was announced today that Jota had won the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month award for November.
More impressively, the Portugal international, who scored two brilliant Premier League goals last month, edged out the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Harry Kane to scoop the award.
He wasn’t supposed to kick off his Liverpool career with this sort of intensity and suffice to say that some fans of the Merseyside club have already began loving him.
