Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has outlined to The Daily Mail what he expects from Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

The Foxes will take on Tottenham away from home at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Spurs will head into the match in North London on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are not in great form at the moment and last won a competitive game of football on October 2.

Leicester manager Ranieri, though, believes that Tottenham will pose a big challenge, especially after what happened after season.

Spurs were the Foxes’ main challengers for the Premier League title until the final weeks of the 2015-16 campaign.

The North London outfit eventually finished third behind Arsenal and champions Leicester.

“There will be big reaction from them and we have to show our personality, our strength, our philosophy,” Ranieri told The Daily Mail. “We must show our shape and our discipline — everything.”

Tottenham may not be in great form at the moment, but they do have some brilliant players.

Playing at home is also going to give Spurs an advantage, and it is hard to see Pochettino’s side dropping all three points in North London on Saturday afternoon.
