Sheffield United fans have taken to Twitter to react after hearing what Marcelo Bielsa said about Chris Wilder in a press conference earlier today.
The Argentine took time to praise Wilder for his efforts, and also called him a ‘great manager’ when speaking before the media.
The Star quote Bielsa as saying: “I would like to make a recognition to Sheffield United and their manager who produced the team.
“A great manager who produced all of that. I regretted he could not continue his job and he could not attempt a new story with this club, to have got them promoted after dropping back to the Championship.”
Now, despite there being something of a distaste between the two Yorkshire sides, it was nice to see Bielsa say this unprompted.
Sheffield United fans may not like Leeds as a club, but they cannot deny that their manager is a class act who never lets himself down.

In our view, the £153,846-a-week Leeds boss is spot on.
Wilder surely would’ve taken the Blades straight back into the Premier League.
Under his guidance, Sheffield United walked the Championship, racking up 100 points as they made England’s second tier look easy.
Admittedly, the Blades aren’t the same side they were back in that 2018/19 season.
Having said that, they’re arguably better equipped for a season in the Championship now.

They have Rhian Brewster, who took the division by storm while on loan at Swansea, as well as others who could enjoy life in the Championship.
Whatever happens this summer, we hope to see the Blades back in the top-flight as soon as possible.
Let’s see what the Sheffield United fans on Twitter had to say about Bielsa’s comments…
