According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Newcastle United are interested in signing Juventus’s Daniele Rugani.

Steve Bruce has a really strong squad at the moment. However, if there is an opportunity to bring in a top-quality player, they have to do it. Juventus’s Daniele Rugani was once one of the highest-rated defensive prospects in world football, but he hasn’t quite lived up to expectations.
The Italian has been linked with a move to the Premier League for quite some time. Having won five Serie A titles, Rugani could bring a winning mentality to Newcastle, while a move to Tyneside would also give him the opportunity to start afresh.
The pressure at Newcastle will be a lot less than it is in Turin, which could potentially help him fulfill the potential he once showed as youngster during his time with Empoli.
