According to Larazon and Calciomercato, the Premier League champions are interested in signing the 26-year-old Sevilla winger, who has a £56 million release clause.
Liverpool are set to lose their title by a landslide as Manchester City boast an unassailable, double-digit lead over Jurgen Klopp’s side in the table.
And there is likely to be major changes in the Reds’ squad this summer.
But suffice to say that some fans of the Anfield club have offered mixed reactions that the Argentine – who has seven goals for the Spanish side this season – is the answer to their prayers.

A freakishly-delicate defence has cost Liverpool more than anything else this season, with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez two of the biggest casualties by far.
The knock-on effect of their absence includes Fabinho and Jordan Henderson playing in central defence, despite being midfielders, so Liverpool could potentially only bolster their back line in the summer and still go back to being title challengers next term.
