Tottenham are reportedly close to signing Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke.

Tottenham Hotspur may not have made a new signing in almost 18 months, but they could be set for a perfect start to the summer transfer window.
Lucas Moura remains Tottenham’s last first-team signing back in January 2018, and it finally looks like Mauricio Pochettino will be able to bring in some new blood.
The Daily Mail report that Spurs are on the verge of an £8.5million deal for Leeds United winger Jack Clarke, with the teenager all set for a move to North London.
Sky Sports add that Tottenham have agreed a deal worth £65million for Lyon star Tanguy Ndombele, and will pen a five-year deal and undergo a medical within days.
After so long without a signing, a £73.5million outlay on two signings will be hugely exciting, and this is the perfect way to kickstart the recruitment drive.
Ndombele is the major first-team star that Tottenham fans have wanted. A club-record-breaking deal, beating major clubs to his signature in a move that will immediately improve the Tottenham side in a key area.

In Clarke, Tottenham are also adding a talented 18-year-old for Pochettino to develop, which is exactly what he loves to do, and he already has great experience after a season under Marcelo Bielsa, given that many of Pochettino’s tactical principles come from mentor Bielsa.
That mixture of immediate blockbuster addition and exciting prospect for the future is the ideal way to start for Tottenham, and with the same balanced approach to the window, Spurs could be in for a superb couple of months.
