Cillian Sheridan has reflected on Twitter on training with Andrew Robertson when the Liverpool defender was in the youth team at Celtic.

Robertson was at Scottish Premiership giants Celtic as a youth player, but the 25-year-old Scotland international left-back failed to break into the first team.

After playing for Queen’s Park and Dundee United, the Scotsman moved to Hull City before joining Liverpool in 2017.

Robertson has now established himself as one of the best left-backs in the world and is a regular for the Merseyside outfit.

Sheridan came through the youth academy at Celtic and made a handful of appearances for the Glasgow giants’ first team before leaving in 2010.
