Chelsea coach Christophe Lollichon says that reported Newcastle United summer target Alphonse Areola is better Tottenham Hotspur ace Hugo Lloris.

Hugo Lloris is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and the Tottenham Hotspur star has been playing for France since 2008.
Lloris has played over 100 times for France and was a key figure in their 2018 World Cup success in Russia in the summer.
The 31-year-old is going strong at the moment, and it does seem likely that the former Lyon star – who earns £100,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – will be playing on for a while longer.
Chelsea’s goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon, though, believes that Paris Saint-Germain’s Alphonse Areola is better than Lloris.
The Frenchman has praised the 25-year-old following the goalkeeper’s performance for France against Germany last week.
The Mirror quotes Lollichon as saying: “People live in a dream world when it comes to Lloris a bit too much, but for me Areola is above.
“Against Germany, he was positionally very good and in his ability to come out. It’s the basis of all goalkeepers, but not everyone does it well. He’s pro-active in his anticipation.”

Areola has been at PSG since 2006, and the goalkeeper has had loan spells at Lens, Bastia and Villarreal in recent seasons.
Back in May 2018, France Football reported of Newcastle United’s interest in the 25-year-old goalkeeper.
Nothing materialised, and Areloa remained at PSG, where he is now an important player and is competing with Gianluigi Buffon for a place in the starting lineup.
