Christophe Galtier is over the moon to have joined Nice after reportedly holding talks with both Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
Tottenham Hotspur and Everton interest
Both Tottenham and Everton are on the hunt for new managers.
Spurs sacked Jose Mourinho back in April, while Carlo Ancelotti left Everton earlier this month to return to Real Madrid.
And both the Premier League clubs approached Galtier.
The 54-year-old guided Lille to the Ligue 1 title last season and was, understandably, in demand.
BeFoot reported earlier this month that Everton had made contact with the French manager’s representatives.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
Tutto Mercato Web reported this month that Tottenham had made approach for the former Lille boss.
We covered that report here on HITC Sport as well.

Nice move
However, Galtier has decided not to move to Everton and Tottenham.
Instead, the 54-year-old has taken up the managerial job at Nice.
The Ligue 1 club have announced on their official website that they have appointed Galtier as their new head coach with immediate effect.

Galtier told Nice’s official website: “I am very excited about coaching Le Gym and joining the INEOS football project.
“I have met Jim and it is very clear he wants to compete, nothing less, and that is how I think too.”
It might seem a strange decision to some, and it will be interesting to see how Galtier gets on at Nice.
